Artists may soon be able to promote and sell their own NFTs on their Spotify pages. In an article written by Music Ally, the streaming service confirmed that it is currently in the testing stages of the new feature.  Currently, the feature is available to a select group of users based in the United States. Those within that group can scroll past the songs section of the page and tap on an NFT, which will pull up a larger image of it. A “See More” icon will bring the user to the NFT marketplace OpenSea, where they can purchase it. Right now, Spotify isn’t taking any cut of artists’ NFT sales.  READ MORE

Spotify is testing a new feature that will enable listeners to ‘pre-save’ albums in the weeks before they are released. The first test launched earlier this month with British artist Florence + The Machine. The feature works with a ‘pre-save’ button on the artist’s Spotify profile, which they will also be able to promote to fans with a direct link.

YouTube has announced the launch of 'Green Screen', a tool that will allow users to use up to a 60-second video segment from any eligible YouTube video or YouTube Shorts as the background for their new original Shorts video.
